joe got some free tickets to the Quannum Tour (Blackalicious, DJ D-Sharp, DJ Shadow, The Gift of Gab, Joyo Velarde, Lateef & The Chief, Latryx, Lifesavas, and Lyrics Born) at the electric factory and invited me to go with him! we met up with candice and a couple of her friends at the show. it was my first real crew show, and it was pretty fucking phat. dj shadow kicks major ass. i really liked the gift of gab too. after that, i came back to my apartment and watched dawn of the dead (original) and played splinter cell 2.  it should be bedtime now, but i'm not really that tired. i guess i'll go find something to do now.

went to the first unitarian church sanctuary with my new myspace friend, jen, to see savath and savalas (featuring prefuse-73) and it was pretty awesome. she's cool to talk to and lives really close by, so maybe we will hang out again soon. the show was sweet. i think all of the musicians were spanish, so the vocals sounded really nice and different. the music was very good as well. they had a very tight drummer, and great singers.
